Global Warming Effects

'Strange weather results in Shark discovered in Cabarete Hotel Pool. Global warming is to blame. The shark just wanted to cool off. The female guest was frightened but not harmed. The shark was retuned to it's natural habitat off the coast of Florida.' Photo (Shop) by Brad Graham of Thunderbay Ontario, Canada.

When asked to comment, Casa Blanca Hotel owner William Oosterman said “We try to keep the number of fish using the hotel pool to a minimum but there is only so much we can do. The Dominican Wild Life Officials are very concerned about discrimination against these creatures so we have to be careful, particularly during Semana Santos”.

PS: Just in case there are a few people out there who do not understand, the photo is a made up picture using PhotoShop. Rest assured, there are no sharks in this part of the Atlantic, or in our pool
